Nova Peris Foundation
The Nova Peris Foundation (NPF), a not-for-profit organization, empowers Aboriginal people by partnering with remote communities to provide infrastructure, improve health, and increase employment and educational opportunities. These initiatives reflect NPF’s commitment to supporting micro-business enterprises and fostering economic pathways in remote Aboriginal communities, aligning with their broader mission of empowering First Nations people.
NPF has partnered with Bawaka Experience to enhance its tourism offerings in North East Arnhem Land. This collaboration has led to significant improvements in Bawaka’s facilities, providing visitors with a more enriching cultural experience. As part of these upgrades, NPF has installed new air conditioners in the cabins, as well as improving the site’s energy reliability by upgrading the solar infrastructure and generator, supporting sustainable tourism while reducing environmental impact. These enhancements not only benefit visitors but also contribute to the long-term viability of Bawaka Experience as a thriving cultural and economic venture.

Harvey Norman has generously donated beds for the Bawaka Experience cabins, providing much-needed comfort for visitors immersing themselves in the beauty and culture of North East Arnhem Land.
