Ngalarrkpuy Lonely Beach Tour
🌴 Step onto the untouched beauty of Ngalarrkpuy – Lonely Beach, where vibrant Yolŋu culture meets the crystal-clear waters of East Arnhem Land. Led by a knowledgeable Yolŋu host, you’ll gain insight into the site’s deep cultural significance and its connection to the Yolŋu people. This pristine beach, part of their ancestral lands, is rich in both cultural & natural heritage. The tour includes a visit to Bungugunglu, an ancient Yolŋu fish trap site dating back thousands of years. Duration 1~2 hours. 1-day visitors are welcome to stay all day at Bawaka, BYO food as no catering is included.

Yolŋu Cultural Activities
🎣 Take a journey into Yolŋu history & culture dating back over 6,000 years, by joining a Yolŋu led cultural experience. Activities can include spear making & spear fishing, bush foods & bush cooking, or traditional weaving. Available activities will depend on the interests of the group, the time of year, and available materials. Please indicate in your booking notes if you have a preference for your activity. We will check the avilability of our Yolŋu guides and let you know. Duration 1~2 hours. 1-day visitors are welcome to stay all day at Bawaka, BYO food as no catering is included.
