The images we have used on our website and in our marketing collateral have been compiled from the image libraries of the Tourism Australia and Tourism NT  and are used with the permission of these organisations.

Other images belong to respective photographers and remain the copyright of the individual and are protected by copyright laws of Australia. Unlawful use or download may result in penalties.

Respecting Indigenous intellectual property extends beyond arts and copyright. It includes the use of images showing Aboriginal people and cultural sites. At Bawaka, we have established protocols for photographing and filming people, places, objects, cultural sites, activities, and ceremonies. If you’re unsure about the correct approach, please check with us before taking any photos or filming.
